The event series “Tatort Biodiversität” (Crime Scene Biodiversity) has become an integral part of social life in Liechtenstein.
For the annual event in spring, we designed posters featuring gnarled branches in fashionable shoes. In this way, we directly link the main theme of fashion and consumption with the natural resources that create the conditions for it in the first place.
The fact that the branches look like human legs is intentional and provides a stopping power that has become rare in posters today.
Biodiversity loss doesn’t happen anywhere, but directly in our wardrobe. In our fridge. In our bathroom. “Crime scenes” are everywhere. We can change that, often without any sense of sacrifice.
The line-up of the event shows how it can be done. WWF CEO Thomas Vellacott talks about how a sustainable society can become a reality in politics, business and everyday life. Influencer Daria Daria talks about her transformation from fashion blogger to activist. And choreographer Jacqueline Beck puts on a show that proves that second-hand is anything but a compromise.
